How do you earn money?
Pets are the income source named in the developer's current How to Play. Hatching grows your collection, and the same description names treadmill and base upgrades as progression activities.
Do rarer pets always earn more?
A current rarity-to-income formula has not been verified. Compare actual values and units shown on your pets. Rarity labels alone cannot calculate an upgrade budget.
Make income values comparable
| Target | Check | Action |
|---|---|---|
| conditions | Boost and session conditions | Compare pets under the same conditions; record visible multipliers. |
| collection | Collection total versus one pet | Do not attribute the whole balance increase to a single hatch without isolating it. |
| unit | Displayed unit | Distinguish money per second, per collection, or another displayed basis. |
| time | Observation window | If measuring a balance change, state the duration and exclude spending during the sample. |
How should you plan an upgrade budget?
Read the price and keep a reserve you choose. This is budget advice, not a game requirement. Before spending, explain which current bottleneck the upgrade addresses.
Sources and evidence limits
- Backflip for Animals! — official Roblox experience
The developer's current How to Play confirms backflips and biomes, guarded eggs, rare or mutated hatches, pet income, treadmill Speed training, and treadmill/base upgrades. It does not publish a complete pet list, hatch odds, income rates, or upgrade costs.
